On A Reading Binge
I love spending time curled up with decorating magazines and books on a cool autumn day. This week I purchased five magazines and two books, Romantic Homes, Romantic Country, Country French, Christmas Cottage, and Vintage Style. The books are The Farm Chicks Christmas, and The Kitchen Linens Book. I'm loving all the great inspiring photos in these publications. I wish it was closer to Christmas, I'm ready to do some holiday decorating!

I am always so conflicted between a rustic Christmas and a Vintage style Christmas. Walmart has the cutest owl Christmas wreath in the rustic style with burlap for ribbon...I love it! I may buy it and stash it away for a later...more country...Christmas. =D
ReplyDeleteI have been doing my yearly review of all my Christmas decorating books...the Gooseberry Patch ones are really fun!
Thank goodness there are still some good magazines out there, because that's one of my favorite things to do, curl up in a chair and get inspired! I've never seen the Vintage Style mag, so I'll look for that one. Still missing Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion though, even after all these years!
